FamilyRhythm began in our own home.
We tried the usual systems first: sticker charts, chore charts, points, simple rewards, handwritten lists, and repeated reminders.
Some worked for a few days. Some worked for one child and not another. Some created excitement at first, then slowly became one more thing for the parent to manage.
The problem was not that our kids were failing. The problem was that the system was not carrying enough of the weight.
Most family tools either treat children like employees to be optimized, or parents like managers chasing metrics. We wanted something different.
